Jacqueline has more than 15 years of experience advising local and foreign clients, mainly in matters of corporate and commercial law, development of real estate projects, as well as matters relating to the financial sector.

She initiated her career as a lawyer at Grupo Mundial (Aseguradora Mundial, SA, Mundial Servicios Fiduciarios, SA, Banco Panameño de la Vivienda, SA and other affiliates), where she participated and advised the companies of the Group in handling insurance claims (related to contracts of public and private sector); review and drafting of surety contracts; structuration of trusts related to financial guarantees, investments, administration, payment and/or custody.

In the real estate project development area, she has participated in the negotiation, drafting, review of contracts, structuring co-ownership regulations and commercial bank loans for projects of high importance and complexity (with mixed-uses and components), on behalf of hotel operators and promoters with national and international experience. In addition, she has represented for years the main entities of the sector, including the Panamanian Association of Real Estate Brokers and Promoters (ACOBIR).
